in many ways, including: - Assisting with the purchase of Church Wood
and Marden Park Woods
- Organising public meetings for residents to raise
security issues with the Police & promoting the Neighbourhood Watch scheme
- Working
to enforce the Covenants which cover Woldingham
- Opposing schemes for excessive
High Density Housing development in the centre of the village
- Offering
informal advice to members on whether planning applications might breach the Gilford
Covenants & Local Plan Policies
- Scrutinising planning applications
made to Tandridge District Council and opposing where necessary
- Liaising with
and advising Parish Council over planning matters
- Sending a deputation
to the Chief Planning Officer at Tandridge to discuss breaches of planning control
in Woldingham
- Monitoring developments without planning permission
- Opposing plans for the erection of communication masts
- Monitoring
proposals for Biggin Hill & Redhill Aerodromes and M25 widening
- Making
representation at appeals and public enquiries
- Supporting a village appraisal
to collate residents views
- Opposing Clay Pigeon shooting at Tillingdown
and Hanging Wood
- Making representations in respect of the North of the
Downs Plan & Local Government Commission Plans
- Supporting the setting
up of the Parish Council
- Making representations in respect of the Local
Development Framework
- Sponsoring, authoring and distributing the Woldingham
