April’s Nominated Volunteers

Webmaster General News

Thank you to everyone who has submitted nominations so far. We have selected another of the nominations which is highlighted here and in the May issue of the Magazine (page 31), out now. Every nomination submitted will be recorded and at the end of 2017 we will celebrate all the volunteers and compile a complete list of groups, projects and organisations which welcome volunteers and their contact details if appropriate.

Please continue to nominate volunteers, all information can be found on the Year of the Volunteer web page.

April’s Nominated Volunteers are:
All the leaders of our Girl Guiding and Scout Groups (Brownies, Rainbows, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts)

The leaders are dedicated volunteers who give their time to be trained and to run regular sessions. They also organise trips and activities, enabling the girls and boys to gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and communities. They are also regularly supported by other helpers from our local community.

The Brownies group is lead by Judy Baker, Loretta Brooker, Claire Dunn and Di Ross.

The Rainbows group is lead by Sarah Cheeseman and Sarah Guild. They would love to have some extra adult help. Please get in touch if you can help: moc.l1498733050iamto1498733050h@6na1498733050mesee1498733050hchar1498733050as1498733050

The Beavers, Cubs and Scout groups are all run by Andy Parr.

The village is still hoping to re-establish the Guide group for girls age 10 and above. If anyone is interested in becoming a Guide leader to help set up this group please contact: moc.l1498733050iamg@1498733050seinw1498733050orbma1498733050hgnid1498733050low1498733050
