Change at Woldingham Horticultural Society

Under our new Chairman and pro-active committee, the WHS does not stand still!

We recognise our AGM is an unattractive affair, which means a small audience of die hards turn out each year to meet in someone’s large lounge. The business gets done and an invited speaker makes the best of it, after the AGM finishes. So change is needed!

This year, we are organising a social get together for everyone in the Village—members or not.

Thursday March 14th 2019, 6.20pm onwards
at Woldingham Village Hall

Enjoy a glass of Italian wine & nibbles.

Followed by an one hour presentation by Paolo Arrigo from the company ‘Seeds of Italy’. He promises an entertaining talk ‘Italy from Seed to Plate’ which will cover veg from Roman times to present day and is a journey of traditional veg from Italy to the UK. His talk is sure to interest gardeners, foodies and Italophiles.

£3 for non-members but refunded if they join the WHS on the night (£5)
