Round up of current information from Surrey County Council
Message from Councillor Becky Rush:
– Birth registration appointments are postponed for the next 21 days. You can still make a claim for child benefit or universal credit prior to the birth being register, see online
– Community Recycling Centres. All 15 of Surrey’s CRCs are closed. Check with Tandridge District Council for latest collection updates; please hold on to excess waste to prevent the service from being overwhelmed
– Surrey library’s are closed for the foreseeable future
– the Community helpline for Surrey is available to direct you to services that can help during the coronavirus pandemic. The phone number is 0300 200 1008 (mon-fri 9am -5pm). It can not help with public health advice – please use 111 for those queries
– the Surrey Local Resilience Forum are co-ordinating measures to support the 17,000 extremely vulnerable in Surrey
