Tandridge district in Tier 4 restrictionsThe Tandridge district is now in Tier 4 of the government’s system for England. Residents are being asked to stay at home, although those who have to travel for education or work may continue to do so, where your place of work remains open and where you cannot work from home (including if your job involves working in other people’s homes). Residents in Tier 4 will only be allowed to celebrate Christmas with members of their own household and their support bubbles. No-one in Tier 4 will be allowed to join Christmas Day bubbles in Tiers 1 to 3. Under Tier 4, social mixing is restricted to meeting one other person from outside your household in an open public space. Support bubbles remain unaffected, as do the exemptions for separated parents and their children. All non-essential retail will close, along with hairdressers, indoor gyms, nail bars and indoor entertainment venues. More details can be found on the gov.uk website. The measures will be formally reviewed on Wednesday 30 December. |

Hands. Face. SpaceThank you to everyone who has been following the Covid-19 guidelines to try and keep coronavirus cases down. We all need to continue to do everything we can to limit the spread of the virus. To keep everyone safe please remember.
Approximately one in three people who have coronavirus have no symptoms and could be spreading it without realising it, so it’s really important we all continue to follow government guidance. |
