Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
Woldingham Parish Council offer condolences to the Royal family, to the village and to the nation, at the loss of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. Never in the history of our great Kingdom have we had the privilege to be ruled for so long by such an incredible and humbling public servant. Our grief for Her Majesty, our longest reigning monarch, is endless. May she rest in peace.
Flowers may be left by the war memorial at St. Paul’s Church and there is a condolence book at St. Paul’s as well.
The Parish Council will fly the flag at half-mast until 8am the day after the funeral, except from the Proclamation today, Saturday 10th September, at 11am until Sunday 11th September 1pm, when it will be at full mast in honour of King Charles III. Long live the King.
