Volunteers urgently needed to help with Parish Council activities

Webmaster Parish Council

The Parish Council’s work is primarily focused on the protection of the character of our beautiful village. They review all local planning applications, support local organisations events as well as minor infrastructure projects like the new footpath and gardens nearing completion behind The Crescent. The Woldingham Neighbourhood Plan which was developed by the previous council in full consultation with the residents provides a statutory framework and clear guidelines for most of this activity.

Currently the councillors are reduced in number and urgently need additional volunteers to ensure they can continue to protect our local environment. Meetings are only once a month in the evening and any activity in between is very flexible thanks to the internet.

If you have some spare time and want to support our village then you can contact Karen Newman the Parish Council clerk on and then attend one on of their monthly meetings to find out more.

Without more volunteers to help with these activities the Parish Council will need to restrict its work which would be a great pity for this Village.
