Could a grant help you achieve something in the village? The Parish Council is here to support your ideas for the community.

Roundabouts at the playground, disabled access to the Glebe, the Church Fete, these are all examples of the ways the Parish Council has supported the local community through grants. This year we will review grant applications at the November Parish Council meeting on Wednesday the 27th of November. At this meeting we will determine this year’s funding activity and so we seek applications from our community.

Simply email our clerk at to obtain a one-page application form. The criterion is simple: it has to benefit the local community. Priority is given to particular projects that benefit the widest number of residents or projects that help the most vulnerable. Grants in the past have been issued for as little as £60 and up to £2000.

We really encourage applications and there is not project too small.

Applicants are advised to submit early in case their form is missing detail and needs further clarification. Please be sure to provide detailed breakdowns of total proposed expenditure on the project, as well as the details of the requested grant.
